To provide Humanities students with undergraduate student support, awards, and recruitment possibilities.

Proceeds shall be designated for the Dean of Humanities discretionary use for the School of Humanities to support student awards

To support unrestricted unrestricted gifts to the UCI Humanities Center or programs that it administers.

To support the areas of greatest need as determined by the dean.

To send graduate and undergraduate students out into the community to learn hands-on.

To support internship and professional development programs for students within the Claire Trevor School of the Arts.

Pledge to establish a memorial endowment in music, the specific project to be determined when the pledge is fulfilled.

To provide support for the instruction of Armenian language courses.

To support the Claire Trevor School of the Arts.

To support all revenue and expenses related to the Modern Dance Program though commissioning shows, fellowships, and guest artists. (School to notify us when the fund meets the required minimum

At the discretion of the dean of the school, fund will be used to support the center, including, but not limited to center’s programs, lectures, exhibitions & receptions.

To recognize and promote student academic success, enhanced progress and achievement in leadership and service in the School of Social Sciences.

To support the Center for Asian Studies.

To support the History Project in the Department of History, to be used at the director’s discretion.

To elevate and enrich all aspects of the Shakespeare Center; this may include creating new programming opportunities, expanding the center outreach and offering more scholarships.

To support all activities and programming related to the Program in Religious Studies to be used at the discretion of the program director.

To advance research on applied logic and natural language in the Department of Philosophy.

To support the supplemental research costs of undergraduate and graduate students in Comparative Literature that are not otherwise reimbursable by UCI.

To support all expenses related to the Center for Jewish Studies.

To support the MFA Programs in Writing to be used at the discretion of the program director.

To support areas within the Department of History, as determined by the department chair, through the Friends of the History Department group.

To support areas within the Department of English, as determined by the department chair, through the Friends of the English Department group.

To support the areas of greatest need within the Department of Asian American Studies to be used at the discretion of the department chair.

To support important areas of the Department of Art History, as determined by the department chair, through the Friends of Art History group.

To support the activities and programming of UCI’s Department of Film and Media Studies to be used at the discretion of the department chair.

To support all programming and activities related to the Department of East Asian Studies.

To support programming, faculty research, teaching, student scholarships and more at the Samuel Jordan Center for Persian Studies and Culture.

To support all areas of the Classics Department, including programming, faculty recruitment and retention, teaching, research and student scholarships, at discretion of the department chair.

To enrich and enhance all programming, teaching and research related to Armenian Studies in the Department of History.

To support the construction of a new art museum and institute on the UCI campus.

To enhance The Irvine Museum Collection activities, including maintaining the collection, advancing arts education and public engagement, and supporting UCI museum-affiliated faculty, staff, and students.

To elevate and advance arts education, collection development and preservation, exhibitions, publications, and research initiatives at UCI Institute and Museum of California Art.

To promote effective writing and communication to build personal and professional success for our students.

To enhance and enrich our educational theatre programming within the Department of Drama.

To help maintain the musical instruments within the Department of Music at the discretion of the department chair.

To support various programming and activities of the Department of Art.

To support various programming and activities of the Department of Music.

To support various programming and activities of the Department of Dance.

To elevate and enhance all programming and activities of the Department of Drama, including bringing in artists and scholars, publicizing drama programs and launching new programs and initiatives.

To support the production, travel, lectures and receptions of opera at the discretion of vocal arts faculty in UCI’s Department of Music.

To elevate the productions, seminar series, outreach, education and other programming for the New Swan Theatre.

To provide scholarships to undergraduate students in the Department of Music.

To support unique and incredible professional-level learning opportunities for Claire Trevor School of the Arts students.

To expand and elevate music performance for students and faculty.

To support the Donald R. & Joan F. Beall Center for Arts and Technology’s programs, lectures, exhibitions, receptions and other areas designated by the dean.
