To send graduate and undergraduate students out into the community to learn hands-on.

To support the MFA Programs in Writing to be used at the discretion of the program director.

To support areas within the Department of History, as determined by the department chair, through the Friends of the History Department group.

To support areas within the Department of English, as determined by the department chair, through the Friends of the English Department group.

To support the areas of greatest need within the Department of Asian American Studies to be used at the discretion of the department chair.

To recognize outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Education.

To recognize and support an outstanding graduate student pursuing research in the School of Education in memory of Dr. Michael Martinez.

To enhance and expand the School of Education’s partnerships with the community.

To provide graduate student support within the School of Biological Sciences.

To provide public impact fellowships to exemplary graduate students in Public Health.

Fellowships
